Musical Inspirations (mostly ambient)

Natalia Beylis - Mermaids. This ambient album gets close to ASMR in its detail and sense of warm, enveloping space through sound.

Tim Stebbing - The Atmosphere Factory. Very neat diy electronic excursions from the late 1980s, originally from cassette releases I think? Kind of in the realm of John Carpenter scores mixed with a kind of proto 1990s idm almost, but with a very outsider sensibility.

Joanna Brouk - The Space Between. Sublime piano based environmental music, that drifts and shifts in an endlessly refracting whole.

Mark McGuire - A Pocket Full of Rain. Wild guitar instrumentals that use looping and effects into a kind of kosmische whole.
